Meaning of Plant Layout

Plant layout is the physical layout of industrial infrastructure. A plant layout study is an engineering study used to analyze different physical configurations for a manufacturing plant. This suitable land the space required for material transportation, storage, indirect costs, and any other supporting activities or services, as well as operating equipment and staff. Basically, the plant layout is:
